Delete Your Data from MASAR AI

Last updated: October 2026

You can remove your data from MASAR AI at any time. This page explains how to remove MASAR AI's access from Facebook, how to request deletion, and exactly what gets deleted.

1. Remove MASAR AI from Facebook

  1. Open Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites.
  2. Find MASAR AI in the list and click Remove.
  3. This immediately stops MASAR AI's access to your Page, Instagram account and ad account.

Removing the app on Facebook stops future access. To delete what MASAR AI has already stored, also do step 2 or step 3 below — those are the two routes that are always processed.

2. Disconnect inside MASAR AI

Settings → Connected Accounts → click Disconnect on the platform's card. That deletes the stored access tokens and the linked Page, Instagram and ad-account ids straight away, so MASAR AI can no longer reach that account. To have the rest of your Meta data deleted too (campaign records, publish history, cached insights), request it by email (step 3), or delete your whole MASAR AI account: Settings → Profile → Delete Account.

3. Request deletion by email

Email general@masarai.app from the address on your MASAR AI account and say that you are requesting data deletion. If you removed the app on Facebook and Meta gave you a confirmation code, include it. We respond within 30 days and confirm once deletion is complete.

What MASAR AI deletes

When you request deletion (step 3) or delete your MASAR AI account, we delete everything we hold from Meta for you:

  • Stored Facebook and Instagram access tokens (encrypted at rest).
  • The Facebook Page id, Instagram business account id, and selected ad account.
  • Records of Meta ad campaigns you created through MASAR AI.
  • Instagram publish jobs and the resulting post links.
  • Cached performance and insights data pulled from Meta.

This happens within 30 days. Disconnecting Meta does not delete your MASAR AI account or your non-Meta work — removing an app on Facebook is not a request to close a MASAR AI account. Posts already published to your own Instagram account remain yours and are deleted from Instagram itself.

Payment and invoice records are kept after deletion for as long as tax law requires, without your card details — only the amount, date, payment reference and plan.
